Summer is the time to try new things. Whether it’s a new sport, a new hobby, or even a new career, you should look for ways to challenge yourself and have fun. Sports are a great way to get outside and have fun with your friends and family. Here are some new sports to try this summer:
Brazilian Jiu-jitsu (BJJ)

Brazilian Jiu-jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art that combines elements of grappling and striking. It was developed in Brazil by an individual who had a background in Kodokan Judo. It has become popular in the U.S., and more people are trying it out this summer. But what exactly is BJJ? And why should you try it?
This martial art focuses on grappling and ground fighting. The main goal is to control your opponent, either by pinning them down or submitting them by chokes or joint locks until they submit or give up. You can search BJJ training course online if you want to learn this martial art.
Skate Soccer
The game combines rollerblading and soccer, with players on both teams using rollerblades to try and score goals. Players can use their hands or their feet to move the ball around, but they can’t touch it with their hands while it’s on the ground. It’s a lot faster than regular soccer because there’s no stopping and starting like in regular soccer or rugby — players just keep skating around the field until someone scores.
Bocce ball
This Italian lawn game combines elements of bowling and horseshoes into one competitive sport that can be played on grass or sand. It involves throwing small balls along a court towards larger balls called “boccia” that have been placed at specific points on each court.
Players may only use one hand when throwing their balls and are not allowed to move their feet from behind the starting line until all balls have been thrown at their targets. Players earn points for knocking down other players’ boccia; however, if your own boccia is knocked down by an opponent’s throw, you lose.
SockBall
Sockball is similar to dodgeball, but instead of using rubber balls, participants use socks filled with dried beans or rice. The game can be played indoors or outside and requires no special equipment other than socks filled with something heavy.
To play Sock ball, divide players into two teams and give each team an equal number of socks (you can probably use one per person). A standard game consists of two 15-minute halves, but you can change the rules based on how many people are playing and how much time you have available.
360Ball
The 360Ball is a new sport that is growing in popularity. A cross between tennis and squash, it’s played on a smaller court with a larger ball, which can be hit from any direction. The game is fast-paced and requires quick reflexes to return shots. It is also known as 360Squash or Squash ball.
Billiard Golf Croquet Game
The billiard golf croquet game is one of the most popular sports in France and other places in Europe. It’s played on a course similar to mini-golf, but instead of getting the ball into holes, players must use cues to hit balls into cups placed around the course. It’s extremely challenging and requires great skill at both pool and croquet. If you want to get involved with this sport, you’ll need at least two friends who also like playing pool and croquet.
Bowling Rodeo
Bowling is a sport that is growing in popularity, but it’s not the only game around. At the Bowling Rodeo, you can bowl on the lanes and then head out to the arena and try your hand at rodeo bull riding. The event is held in Florida, but other states host similar events.
